Control Union Bulgaria is pleased to announce that on 24.11.2021 it obtained accreditation under ISO 17020: 2012, control body type “A”, by EA BAS Bulgaria. Based on demonstrated professionalism, competence and knowledge of the specifics and rules of the GAFTA standard, Control Union Bulgaria became one of the first control body in Bulgaria, accredited by EA BAS according to ISO 17020: 2012, with scope consistent with the rules of GAFTA Standard for Supervision, Sampling & Check Weighing.

The accreditation certificate No 74 OKA, dated 24/11/2021, demonstrates that Control Union Bulgaria fulfills the requirements of ISO 17020:2012 standard as a Type A inspection body, performing inspection of:

Bulk or packaged goods: cereals, pulses, meals; before/on loading/storing in/on: water transport vehicles; road transport vehicles; railway wagons; warehouses/silos; Purity control; Quantity control based on shore scale and draught survey. Sample taking, formation, handling, and distribution.

The accreditation provides recognition of our capabilities to provide competent services with consistently reliable results and demonstrates that our services, policies, practices, and procedures meet the required specifications, and will enable us to continue to grow our business.
